I have a general liability policy, why would this interest me?  MSA membership includes BOTH general and professional liability coverage.  General liability insurance excludes claims that arise out of your professional act.  Therefore, it is important to make sure that you have either a stand-alone professional liability plan or combined general/professional liability policy – both of which can be expensive on the open marketplace – or, secure a low-cost, combined general & professional liability plan on a group basis through membership in Medical Sales Advocates!   In addition to the group insurance policy, MSA membership offers many other benefits that will help you grow your business.

 

Are the hospitals I serve now requiring proof of liability coverage?  Nearly all facilities require reps to show proof of general and/or professional liability coverage.  Regardless if it is a current requirement, the risk of a lawsuit arising out of a professional act or omission resulting in bodily injury to a third party is real.  To protect yourself and your livelihood, we highly recommend that you research MSA to determine whether a membership is right for you.
